As a Senior Innovation & Growth Specialist, Jakub leads a team of six Innovate UK Business Growth specialists delivering tailored business support to SMEs in the South East England region – supporting (SMEs) with innovation management, sourcing funding, entering new markets, and scaling up services.
Jakub is also the head of Intellectual Property services in the South East region, supervising the delivery of IP Audit and IP Access services (funded by the Innovate UK & UK IPO). He is also one of two Pitchfest Champions in the South East, co-leading the Innovate UK Business Growth investment readiness programme (Pitchfest), supporting disruptive companies to become pitch ready.
Previously, Jakub worked with the EU Programme(s) as Deputy Team Manager, supporting SMEs in the area of Med-Tech R&D and international cooperation. Jakub joined Oxford Innovation Advice in 2015 as an Enterprise Europe Network Innovation Advisor assisting SMEs in the Hampshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire regions.
Jakub is based in Southampton, has a degree in International Trade & Marketing. Prior to joining Oxford Innovation, Jakub worked with Enterprise Europe Network for over 6 years, in his native Poland.
