“Educated at the University of Surrey, Christopher has had a varied career – ranging from working in Product Development at BMW to structuring multi-million pound investment portfolios for ultra-high net worth individuals and pension funds, to then moving to the consultancy industry where he found his niche. There, he was in charge of providing University spin-outs and SMEs in the Pharmaceutical and Cleantech sectors with a variety of advisory services such as market/IP due diligence and appraisals, business planning, investment readiness including fundraising and licensing/commercial deals. Through this experience, he and the team noted a gap in the market for effectively commercialising IP from academic institutions and went on to found his own company which he ran for over 7 years, specialising in technologies in the Engineering, Cleantech and Medtech areas.
Christopher joined Oxford Innovation in September 2019, bringing together his experience of business and innovation to help coach companies on the Innovate 2 Succeed Programme.”
